The Castansa Trust was established in 2008. The key motivations of the Trust are: to provide early stage/catalyst funding, for our contribution to make a difference, to encourage a business approach to philanthropy and enable action.
Application Criteria
The Castansa Trust makes grants to charities which work in the following fields:
- Education
- Children and Teenagers (specifically leadership courses and help with employment)
- Support for those diagnosed with cancer or dementia and for their families
- Social Inclusion
- Culture and the Arts
- Environment
The Trust makes grant awards to charitable bodies only. Applications by individuals will not be considered.
The geographical focus is on The Lothians, Glasgow and Dumfries and Galloway.
